Nutrition counseling services

At By Your Side Nutrition Counseling, I offer individualized, virtual nutrition counseling for adults who want support that is thoughtful, evidence-based, and grounded in real life.

This work is not about quick fixes or rigid plans. It’s about understanding what’s been hard, identifying what will actually help, and moving forward through small, steady steps, with guidance along the way.

All services are provided virtually to self-pay clients in states where I am licensed, including Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, Florida, and South Carolina. I am in network with Aetna and United Healthcare.

Sessions begin at $100. Multi-session packages are available for those seeking ongoing support at a lower overall cost. A complimentary 15-minute discovery call is available if you’d like to explore whether this approach feels like a good fit before scheduling.

The woman at the counter is wearing a pink lace blouse and is writing in a notebook. Several books and a small floral arrangement are on the counter nearby.

Initial Nutrition Counseling Session (90 minutes)

The initial session is a 90-minute comprehensive appointment designed to give us the time and space needed to truly understand your story. During this session, we may explore:

  • Your nutrition history and past experiences with dieting
  • Current concerns related to food, body image, or health
  • Relevant medical, lifestyle, and life-stage factors
  • Patterns around eating, stress, and self-care
  • What you’re hoping to change, and what you want to protect

This is not a rushed intake. It’s a collaborative conversation where we begin to clarify priorities and identify realistic next steps.

Best for:
Clients who want a thorough, supportive starting point and a plan that fits their life and not a template.

Follow-Up Nutrition Counseling Sessions (60 minutes)

Follow-up sessions are 60 minutes and focused on ongoing support, reflection, and adjustment. In follow-ups, we may:

  • Revisit goals and progress
  • Respond to challenges or changes in your life
  • Build skills and confidence around eating
  • Address body image concerns as they arise
  • Refine strategies to keep them sustainable

These sessions are flexible and responsive, and shaped by what’s happening for you right now.

Best for:
Clients who want continued guidance, accountability, and support over time.
